| | Won't let me log on, please help! My 3yr old hp pavillion is currently giving me many problems. Now when I try logging on it goes black for a second then will take me back to the log in screen. I usually have to bring it back to a restore point then when I restart it goes back to not letting me on again. I went into safe mode and it logged me on and when I did I did a virus scan with AVG and Malwarebytes antimalware. What else should I try?   |

| | You might want to try a clean boot to figure out what cause the problem: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 I doubt sometime AV program such as AVG can cause problem with start up.. If it doesn not solve the problem, I would suggest to do a Clean Install Windows 7 Also, run a system file check as well: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker Regard, Tuan |
