Because you went to somebody's profile and begged for rep.
TBH a -50 penalty is pretty good as I usually just ban people for that. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number doofenshmirtz evil incorporated OS Windows 8 Pro CPU Intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition Motherboard ASRock X79 EXTREME11 Memory 32GB (8x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Dominator Platinum Graphics Card 2x 3GB EVGA GTX 660 Ti Superclocked+ Sound Card Creative Monitor(s) Displays 3 x27" Dell & 2 x 23" Dell Screen Resolution 3 @ 2560x1440 & 2 @ 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Ergononic 7000 Mouse Logitech Performance MX PSU 1500W ThermalTake Toughpower Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Cooling Antec Kúhler H2O 620 CPU Watercooler Hard Drives 240GB Intel 520 Series, 2.5" SSD, SATA III

Petey7 reps those who help others when he sees them helping, you were asking a question, which, by most standards, warrants no rep received.
Just a quick question, even though I am assuming this thread will be locked shortly, why would he give you rep, when he was helping you. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate CPU AMD Athlon II X2 245 2.90Ghz Motherboard Some Gigabyte one, dont remember model Memory 3.00 GB Graphics Card 8800GTS 512MB Sound Card Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Monitor(s) Displays Dual 22" widescreen Keyboard Saitek Eclipse 2 Mouse Logitech MX518 PSU CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply Case Thermalkake Tsunami Dream Cooling Thermaltake Golden Orb II Hard Drives 250GB internal, 500GB internal |

We take our reputation very seriously here, it is not a joking matter to us. Those who receive rep are usually courteous, polite, and offer kind suggestions based on their knowledge of issues faced by computer users (as opposed to just wild guesses as to what it might be). You can get back your lost rep and much more if you are willing and able to do that.
Also you will find that it is good to be generous in giving rep to others ...
Cheers!
