You will have to resize it down, and a perfect square wont work.

What I would suggest doing is posting in the Custom Sig and Avatar thread and request a sig there, also posting a direct link where someone (such as myself) can see the full resolution of the picture.

Basically, the highest allowed height for you is 100 pixels, which means the picture will automatically resize whatever picture you input to fit that criteria, in your case making the width 108 pixels.

the sigs are limited to 150 pixels tall for Guru's 100 for any other badges

the width I think is 600 pixels?

You can look at some of the sigs here: Custom Made Sig and Avatar [4]
You can ask, one of the GFX team can make on for you!

Edit: you guys are quick

If you post on the last page of custom sigs and avatars someone will take pic and modify it to your specifications. Whatever you want. Text Font color border etc.

The maximum size of your signature image is 650 by 100 pixels and 250.0 KB.

Higher usergroups have bigger sigs, but as you are a new member you don't have that privilege yet.
