    Computer World's Greatest Debates

Post here what you think is the biggest/best/worst/most discussed debates-conflicts in the world of computers, from their very beginning and your opinions/preferences on them.

Let me start by setting a couple :

    Intel VS AMD

    Nvidia VS ATI

and what about their marriage: Intel with Nvidia , AMD with ATI.

    lmfao - here goes.

    Apple versus PC
    M$ versus IBM
    UNIX versus Linux
    Linux versus Windows
IT Cram courses versus IT Real World Knowledge and Hands-on Training
    NT versus Novell
    DVD RAM versus DVD R/RW
    HD versus Blu Ray

and any other topic that becomes a fanboy versus fanboy....

I was sure you could think of a few easily...

But what about who's winning? I mean, in a matter , say like Apple VS Microsoft so far we all know the answer , but there are apart from sales, some other factors that make some things our favorites..

For instance, I admit, I've passed some phases from Nvidia to ATI and then back to Nvidia, (ofcourse) but I never liked the AMDs...
And there are others there that would throw me tomatos for saying that...
So why is a combo of Intel and Nvidia soooo much better and beyond a ATI-AMD combo?

(Let's see the tomatos coming now...)
