    Hi guys.

To put it short, what started as Meniere's Disease problems as both me and my doctor thought, me fainting and throwing up all the time, ended with a stroke. Been in hospital and therapy since that, trying to learn to walk and talk once again.

I'm quite useless ATM, left side of my body is not working, my mouth looks comical when the left side has dropped an inch or so, my speech is almost impossible to understand and so on. Powered my computer first time in over a month yesterday, now trying to cope with it only using right hand and two fingers. Noticed already that using keyboard is a bit difficult, so I'm typing with on-screen keyboard.

Going through extensive therapy, all possible forms: physiotherapy, logotherapy, ergotherapy, speech lessons; you name it, I have it. Angie's love, the different therapists and my lifesaver neurologist are slowly but surely bringing me back to the world.

Please be patient with me, the way I have to use the computer ATM is very slow and uncomfortable. But I'm trying.

Is that typing with one finger and giving the occasional 2-finger salute when you make a spelling or other mistake?

I hope that you continue to improve, and that you soon start to recover the use of your left hand side.

Kari, this has really brightened up my day - just to see you posting now for over a month. I am sure you are finding things very difficult right now, just try not to rush things and get ahead of yourself. Do what the doctors and therapists tell you to do, one step at a time. You will be back to normal before you know it, and maybe even forget it happened. And don't go trying to help people YET Kari

We have all missed you,and are extremely happy for your return.
    Best wishes,

    Dom.
