Can you provide a secondary source that backs up that information?

Nope, August 1999 had the same and there are quite a few more.

Contrary to what you've been hearing on the internet this is not a rare occurrence, and it certainly happens more often than once every 823 years.

This is part of a cycle: In August 2009, there were five Saturdays, five Sundays and five Mondays. August 2010 has five Mondays, five Tuesdays and five Wednesdays.

The next time we get five Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays in August will be August 2021 and August 2032.

    And did you know

There is no such thing as a North American Buffalo, they are all Bison

Buffalo are "Water Buffalo and Cape Buffalo" family

and some folks like to call them buffalo ,but i live just north of Yellowstone Park they have the largest wild numbers of BISON in the world, and all you need to do is ask one of the Park Rangers "where's the Buffalo?" and u get a very quick lecture about Bison/Buffalo

Those Europeans (my family are some of them) that came to North America and said "Buffalo,Antelope" did not have a clue and they still don't

remember if you call a rattle snake a bunny rabbit, it is still not safe to pet it
