    Reputation and Badges Question


    I understand how the badges work with each level of rep points. I recently got over the 600 rep mark and got my Seven Pro Badge. What confuses me is there are folks on here with alot of rep points and their badge doesn't match. I have seen several in the past but just saw Petey7's badge. He is a Power User and has over 2600 rep points. Does anyone know why the rep points are sometimes higher than what the badge should be? Just curious.

    I think it is to do with length of membership time too. Have a read here .

    Yep, my problem has to due with how long I've been here (a month today). I actually got the Skilled badge after about 24 hours and the power user badge after a couple weeks. Unless the admins decide I'm worthy of getting another badge early, I will have to wait until I've been here long enough (which is perfectly fine by me).
