    Plugged in or not?


    Hello guys,

    I am wondering it is OK to leave my PC plugged in all of the time or not. I will shut it down still, just leave it plugged in, so I just press the power switch on the tower to turn it on. Your advice please.

    You pay the electric bill so it is your call.

    Since we really do not suffer from much lightning here in this country I would not be too bothered about leaving it plugged in.

    I leave mine running 24/7 but others will disagree with me for sure.

    I'm with you. Mind we also get the little flicky switch on the socket!
    Mine only ever gets un-plugged when going on a fortnights holiday. Which is never it seems. No. No. Keep your sympathy!

Help, When I try to start my Laptop when it is not plugged in to the power it wont start. When I Plug it in and Start it, it works. But on the task bar power icon it says plugged in not charging. Please Help as tis is becoming very annoying always having to connect to the Power.
I was just wundering what rhis port is used for as i never have needed to use through out any of my builds and wnated to know what i can connect to it?
