Saving Windows Updates (XP)
I think I'm going to reinstall XP on my mum's computer.
now, i did read in a PC magazine a good while ago that i could do something to windows update, then go to a folder on her PC and copy all the updates to disc, then once I've reinstalled i can place the updates back into that folder, then when you go to update windows, it recognises that the files are there and doesn't download them, but installs them.
does anybody have a link to the correct procedure for this?
i wish i'd kept the magazine artical about it.
also, sorry it's not a Windows 7 question
