    Instant email notification

Under Default Subscription Mode: I have chosen Instant notification.
But I'm not getting any emails when people reply to my posts.
    Why?

Dumb question, but is your email address correct? Have you checked your spam folder?

Maybe try a different email address (on a different domain, if possible) to see if it makes a difference. :)

Well, this is interesting. I DID get an email notice when you posted that one. I didn't get any for the thread I started last night about the "9" icon in system tray. Thanks for the suggestions. I had already double-checked my email address and I don't even have a spam filter.

After "Default Thread Subscription Mode:" there is a drop down box with several options. I had chosen "Instant email notification" It's still that way. I don't see anything to "check" under that category.
However, I did get another email notifying me of YOUR post, so it seems to be working for this thread. I don't have any idea why it isn't (wasn't) working in the other thread. The other thread (about he icon) is the first I'd made in here for months, and the lack of email notifications was what prompted THIS thread. Hopefully it was just a fluke.
    Thanks for your reply.

If you want it to work on your older threads you will need to edit the subscription type for each thread here - https://www.sevenforums.com/subscription.php
