If they are, i am not surprised. They would probably use some of the features and what-not to incorporate into MSE. Or they will get rid of MSE and claim Symantec to be theirs.
Typical Microsoft, they gotta have there hand in all the pies.

You might want to check what processes you have running. There is no way Windows 7 should be that bloated. I'm running Windows 7 x64 with only 4 GB of RAM and I have like 20 games installed on my computer. Even when those games are running, I usually have 1-2 GB free.
As for the Microsoft-Symantec deal...I just hope they won't change MSE. It might be a good idea for improving the backup software and other things like that. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Inspiron 14R N4110 OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel Core i5-2410M Quad Core CPU @ 2.30 GHz Memory 4 GB Shared Channel DDR3 Memory Graphics Card Intel HD Graphics 3000, AMD Radeon HD 6470M Sound Card Intel Display Audio, Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays 14" HD 720p LED Display Screen Resolution 1366x768 Mouse Microsoft USB IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 Hard Drives 500 GB 5400 RPM SATA Hard Drive All times are GMT -5.
