So the streak continues, no team wins 2 yrs in a row.. mmm good game wrong outcome for me.

I'm not here to gloat guys(get in there) but hard luck. Barca certainly had the measures of yous and with me being a staunch LFC fan the out come was the right one.

Why do people say nobody has won back to back European cups because Liverpool have done it 76/77 - 77/78. Lets also not forget Nottingham Forrest who retained it also in 78/79 - 79/80, it's like football has just been invented or something.

Sorry about posting bogus info like back to back championships. I am new fan of the sport and do not know much of the history. I only was repeating something I hear on the brodcast{espn} I was watching.It was a good one to watch. You could see that first goal coming from midfield.

It's ok mate, it's the media who blow everything out of proportion. I have heard it myself but all they mean is nobody has done it since it changed it's name. It used to be called the European Cup but now it's called the Champions League. Seems as if football has only just been invented. It's the sky/manchester united relationship.
