    Quick question (Lexile scores).

I'm just really curious and want to ask people who might be knowledgeable on the subject.

Today I got a paper from my school about a series of tests I had taken last year. On it where some Lexile scores. I was wondering about these, and asked the teacher what they were. She told me they what they were, but I didn't get to ask her what the average score was for my grade, nor what reading material would be suited for me at that level. So, I come here to ask those of you who might be able to help, since I'll forget to ask tomorrow.

For the average 9th grade (which was the grade I took the tests in) student:

    • Is a 1464 above or around the average for my grade?
    • What books would I be suited for? (Authors would be appreciated. )

Thank you a lot in advance to everyone who helps. :)

Have a look at this: Lexile® measures and grade levels | Lexile.com

    Specifically this: Lexile®-to-Grade correspondence | Lexile.com

Looking at this, you are above the average for your grade. The average mid-year reader measures. for Grade 9 is 855L to 1165L
