    Jon,

The first part oof the post became especially important when I read the rest of the sentence

Here's hoping that all goes well with the Whelping, for both the ladies involved
Thank you Nigel. I like to add a bit of humour in my posts, where applicable, leaving it lighthearted.
I have passed your message onto Sally and she said: "Thank you".
I am sure she will be ok.

A good, old friend just left. He visited us, only four hours now because of his schedule problems, but it was nice to meet him. We have not so many opportunities to meet face to face nowadays, so luckily he comes back for a few days before ending his work related European tour in a few weeks and returning home to Galveston, Texas.

You youngsters here, please remember this: you can never have too many friends.

    Kari,
    How true this is..........

I am old, ugly and a geek and still looking for just one friend.

I thought Kari was a friend I would start with.

Today I woke up feeling surprsingly happy. Recovering, rehabilitation is going better and faster than excepted. Good friend coming to long and keenly waited visit today. Woke up earlier when Angie brought cappuccino with fresh croissants, a newspaper and a hand written love poem to the bed.

Today is a good day to be alive. Today is a good day to remind my wife how incredible much I love her.

Life is great. Mac OSX sux!

    Kari,
Everyday is a good day to be alive!
    Any croissants left over?

I agree, Kari. Life is great. Your priorities are right. You are blessed to have Angie and Angie is blessed to have you.

Today, we are trying to make this old and cluttered house somewhat ADA friendly as looks like we will be bringing Dad home from rehab on Tuesday. My project starting Monday is to get a permit to build a ramp over the steps to make entering the house possible in a wheel chair and/or a walker.
