Today started out a bit spooky....check the post count

It is too wet and windy for walking the dog. I recently got told off about leaving my PC plugged in all the time. Also I have just joined these forums: QueerUK - Gay News, Gay Forums and Gay Guide

Just read an e-mail sent to me about Julie Andrews changing the lyrics to the Famous song
"The Sound of Music...


It wouldn't be funny if it weren't so true... Julie Andrews turned 69 and to commemorate her 69th birthday on October 1, actress/vocalist Julie Andrews made a special appearance at Manhattan 's Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP. One of the musical numbers she performed was "My Favourite Things" from the legendary movie "The Sound Of Music."

Here are the actual lyrics she used:

Maalox and nose drops and needles for knitting,
Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied up in string,
These are a few of my favourite things.

Cadillac's and cataracts, and hearing aids and glasses,
Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,
Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,
These are a few of my favourite things..

When the pipes leak, When the bones creak,
When the knees go bad,
I simply remember my favourite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions,
No spicy hot food or food cooked with onions,
Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they bring,

Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thinnin',
And we won't mention our short, shrunken frames,

When the eyes grow dim,

And then I don't feel so bad.

She got a 4 minute standing ovation!

Say hello to mechanically separated chicken. It’s what all fast-food chicken is made from—things like chicken nuggets and patties. Also, the processed frozen chicken in the stores is made from it.

Basically, the entire chicken is smashed and pressed through a sieve—bones, eyes, guts, and all. it comes out looking like this.

There’s more: because it’s crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.
But, hey, at least it tastes good, right?

I knew that and it applies to most processed meats and fish - tuna, salmon, deviled ham, Spam, baloney, etc.

Today, infact right now, I m assisting a customer with her mobile broadband and since she did not have any AV installed so I m guiding her to install MSE.

Hi, the customer was so dumb novice. After struggling for 30 mins, I gave up and asked her to speak with the tech support of her PC. She could not even download the MSE file from the internet.
