    NSW chief health officer Kerry Chant says the number of cases in NSW is now 33, up from 18 on Wednesday.

    Twenty-four of those were among the 2,000 passengers aboard the Pacific Dawn cruise ship who disembarked in Sydney on Monday, Dr Chant said.

    Another 324 people are currently undergoing tests after being suspected of having the disease.

    it's funny u asked the question about the end of the world coz i've always thought that a virus would wipe us out. we are always raving about how we are the dominant species on the planet etc but something as small as a virus could end us in no time

    maybe swine flu is the pre-cursor. it will keep mutating and eventually become so strong it eliminates the vast majority of the earth's population

    IM going to dig a big hole, stay in it, and make sure my wireless is always on, and while everyone is dieing from swine flu, im going to check my User CP on Seven Forums, and write my death note on my profile :)
