I’d expect this sort of thing from maybe Apple, but
Dutch distillery MEDEA has come out with the first “iBooze” — a vodka bottle that has a
programmable scrolling 255-character LED message, using a method the company refers to as “Ticking”, which is not to be confused with the symptoms of Tourette’s Syndrome which has the same name.
Selling for a suggested retail price of $39.99 to $49.99 per 750ml bottle, the new vodka is available nationwide ready for the holiday season, or for your next championship
Bitterballen-snarfing event.
The LED display is removable, freezer-proof, waterproof (just in case you want
to try freezing the bottle inside a water-filled milk carton a-la Martha Stewart) and has an expected lifetime of a year and a half with its disposable battery.
So what’s next? Wi-Fi and Twitter-enabled Jack Daniels?
