    This.

And yes, this is completely illegal.

Actually isn't illegal in some states including Arizona, according to that ninth circuit court ruling. They don't need a warrant or anything to put it on your car for any reason they want as long as it's outside your property in the open, not in a garage. Driveways are fair game. Beyond ridiculous, but true. Basically what this story is about.

All the 911 perpetrators were all the same race and religion, now that's racism.

I want to get some feed back from the comunity about what you think. This is concerning becouse it seems that recently they have been fallowing students, for some reason, and well...I am a student.

    So what do you think?

*laughs* Outdated hardware, not even hidden but put out in plain sight? Not sure who put it there or why, but that deserves the FAIL stamp.

yea, the other strange part is that the FBI claims to have no involment, but they still want their "outdated toy" back.

I'm not going to delve very far into it, but depending on A.R.S., the student may be entitled to keep the gear under an abandoned property law, if they give the FBI x days to claim it.

    I would do that

Actually, you could probably argue that since it was on your car, it is yours, because they CAN'T have been using it to spy on you, that would be illegal!
