Sp, this morning, when I woke up, I thought about this. I would love to play my friend's Wii on my monitor. But the thing is, as most of you know, that the Wii only give video output via composite. My monitor (my current one) has a DVI and VGA inputs. I'm currently using the DVI one.
So, I thought... since VGA is analog and that composite is also, would a cable like this one :
VGA to S-Video 3 RCA Composite AV Cable Adapter For TV on eBay.ca (item 170490974898 end time 22-Oct-10 12:43:09 EDT)
Will this wire allow me to display the Wii on my monitor through VGA?
I'm quite curious if it can happen without purchasing a box like those :
Newegg.ca - StarTech VGA2VID High Resolution VGA to Composite or S-Video Converter
I would actually be interrested in playing like that.
