For my personal use I prefer the web based Hotmail over Windows Live Mail client. WLM is too slow and cumbersome on my slow connection.

On the corporate side, we use Outlook 2003.

I use free AOL. It has served me well for years. I like that they manage my mail upstream and I do not have to worry about the mail files. Never had a problem. I can still retrieve my mail from years back.
For certain things I even use their browser which has certain specific capabilities. But for general use the browser is too slow.

Thunderbird. I have used it for years and will never switch. The junk mail processing is the best I've ever seen and it's fast.

I use Outlook 2010 primarily, although I also have WLM installed for backup purposes. On the very rare occasions where neither work due to a problem with the ISP's email server, I also use the web interface.

I don't have Outlook so use Windows Live Mail and like it. I have several accounts plus I can have all my RSS Feeds and Newsgroups in one place.
