battery laptop

Good day! I have an Acer 4745 laptop and I use this one at least 14 hours a day. I always have the battery attached though I always use wall power. Will it in any way hamper or diminish my battery's life?

There is no one answer fits all, but generally speaking now-a-days you are perfectly safe leaving the battery plugged in. Happens to be that I seldom use the battery myself on my laptop and on my netbook, but they are always plugged in.

Battery-charging and monitoring circuitry have improved immensely.
