Be careful where you download "free" emoticons from. I've discovered the hard way that many of the sites offering them are vile, cesspools of spyware, trojans, worms, and viruses. I'm unfamiliar with the sites that SledgeDG posted but Be safe, just the same.

mborner is right...a lot of "black sheep" in the herd.
Everything that could be of interest to more than a handful of users is usually target to those who try to subject you to malware and the likes.
The sites I listed didn't raise any alarms (the ones which did I simply skipped)
It's never a fault to be overly cautious with downloads.
