arctic silver 5 +PS3

okay so today I had to reflow my ps3 after it got the ylod.
So i re-fluxed and reflowed the cell processor & rsx at 1000F(didn't work the first time at 750F lol). So I aplied arctic silver 5 in a paper like layer(2nd time) the first time i tried the center blob/rice method and repalied the hetsink to test and it did not spred evenly.
So my question is: whaat is the break in period/cycle for AC5? anything i should be aware of?
