That there was a Mission: Impossible show? I stumbled upon it from Leonard Nimoy's filmography page on IMDB.
Anyone seen it? Is it good?
I found the first season on Amazon for $20 used, but I wanted to check before shelling out cash :)
it was pretty good. but you have to pay close attention, just like the recent movies. peter graves was the lead actor (the pilot from Airplane!) has the same theme music as the movies. and a tape self-destructs at the beginning of each episode. i dont know if i would buy it though.
That show was new when I was about 5 y.o. (PLEASE don't do the math.)
My favorite part was trying to figure out how they got the tape to fry at the start of every episode.
Anyhow, yeah. Nimoy, Graves and others including Barbara Baines (sp?) were regulars, and the team was slightly dynamic, in that you didn't always see the same team members, week to week. It was a good show with nice plot lines (for the times).
I remember it well. Peter Graves (who was also James Arness' brother) Greg Morris, Barbara Bain, Peter Lupus and Martin Landau. A guy named Bob Johnson was the voice on the tape.
No offense taken. I'm 25, and also I get ~17 channels for $6 a month, two of which are HSN or the like, and three of which are public access, so I don't get these good channels lol
