What would be the best for me? Hello all!
Yeah, I have saved up a little and could afford some upgrades for my computer again but this time, I'm not sure what should I get with limited budget of SGD$80 = around USD$50.
So, I would like some advice since I'm not sure what to upgrade this time. XD
Over at my country, I can afford the following;
- Another stick of 4 GB RAM. ~ I already have 2 x 2 GB of RAM. If I were to buy a 4 GB RAM, I have a spare 2 GB of RAM hanging around.
- WD 800 GB HDD, Green one. ~ Not sure what does their colors meant but all my HDD are from Green.
- A random graphics card, I guess. ~ I know nothing of graphics card but I know that my current graphics card isn't good. XD
- A router to make my house wireless. ~ Would be cool to go with my iPod/iPhone.
- A portable HDD. Looking for at least, 320 GB and above. ~ Should be quite useful at times but I wouldn't be sticking it into my computer daily.
Any advice would be good. MUCH THANKS!!! | My System Specs |

1. extra RAM will buy you a little performance, but not a lot
2. an extra HDD is useful if you have a lot of data and for a little performance gain when you move large amounts of data around
3. a graphics card may make sense if you play games - for normal use with pictures and videos it will not buy you a lot
4. a router is nice to have, but unless you have several PCs spread over the house it makes limited sense. It does, however, increase your security because of the built in firewall
5. an external disc is always useful for offloading data and for imaging. And it is pretty safe from malware when it is not always connected. That would be my first choice. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

I'd get the wireless router because almost every device you buy now wants to connect to the net. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number doofenshmirtz evil incorporated OS Windows 8 Pro CPU Intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition Motherboard ASRock X79 EXTREME11 Memory 32GB (8x4GB) Corsair DDR3 Dominator Platinum Graphics Card 2x 3GB EVGA GTX 660 Ti Superclocked+ Sound Card Creative Monitor(s) Displays 3 x27" Dell & 2 x 23" Dell Screen Resolution 3 @ 2560x1440 & 2 @ 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Ergononic 7000 Mouse Logitech Performance MX PSU 1500W ThermalTake Toughpower Case Thermaltake Level 10 GT Cooling Antec Kúhler H2O 620 CPU Watercooler Hard Drives 240GB Intel 520 Series, 2.5" SSD, SATA III

Thank you, whs & z3r010 for the suggestions.
I know that a portable HDD would be good and it'll be real handy to me at work and I'm thinking of choosing a good one since I only like WD ones. XD
Yeah, sir, most of my devices needs the net and well, it's really hard to choose from them all and I got limited budget. =C | My System Specs | | OS Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) Build 7601 CPU Intel Core i5-3570K Motherboard MSI Z77A-G45 Memory Corsair Vengeance 1600.9 (4GB x 3) Graphics Card MSI GeForce N560 GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II (OC Edition) Monitor(s) Displays Acer P193W (19" LCD) Screen Resolution 1440x900 Keyboard Logitech Gaming Keyboard G110 Mouse Razer DeathAdder 3.5G PSU Seasonic S12II (620W) Case Corsair Carbide 400R Cooling Cooler Master Hyper 612 PWM Hard Drives Intel 330 SSD - 120GB, WD Black HDD - 1TB, WD Green HDD - 500GB & WD Green HDD - 320GB Other Info Mouse Pad: Razer Goliathus Speed Edition - Medium: 355mm x 254mm x 3mm
