    Every April and October a new version of Ubuntu is released. For the past few years. October releases of the worlds most popular consumer Linux distro have been grim.     I've only used 10.10 for a week but I am impressed thus far.... and you have to love the 7 second boot up. It maybe takes 3-4 seconds for the PC to power off after hitting shutdown.

    I get a 10 second startup booting from USB.. not even going to install it to the HDD
