It's better to let millionaire earn money than pay for his crime

Wow....what is the world coming to?

Exec gets off from bicycle hit and run without a felony because having a felony might impair his ability to find high income lines of work in the future. Are you serious?????

    This is totally insane.
But District Attorney Mark Hurlbert says it wouldn't be wise to prosecute Erzinger -- doing so might hurt his source of income.
I wonder what would happened if in place of this Mark Hurlbert who btw
driving his Mercedes into a cyclist and then fleeing the scene
    was some regular "mortal".
Suppose and then they would said, hey, live this guy alone, he has family to feed.

    Words fail ....

    ... perhaps not.

Perhaps the best punishment for this would be for him to become ill and come under the care of the victim.

the minimum should be full financial reparation as an ongoing thing so that the difference in income was paid to the victim by him from his own earnings, with the proviso that if the payments ceased or substantially lower that sentence of the court that would be given to a "normal" person would apply
