Windows 7: How do you use your cell phone?

Do you actually use your cell phone to make/receive calls? I have 4 adult kids (19, 21, 24, 26) and they all tell me they use their phones almost exclusively to text and rarely make calls. Personally, I have no use for texting and think it's the most archaic form of communication available today except for snail mail.

I have no one to text or call, I use it for reference considering it's an iPhone with many great apps. (I'm a teen and I never use my phone except for reference, talk about irony.)

Don't text much, so I'd say 90% talk and 9% photos back and forth.

Don't use my phone much as when i work out in the desert, there are no cell phone towers.
When i am in range, it's 90% text, 10% calls. Using prepaid, which makes calls expensive.

About 50/50. Especially handy for meetings, where a ringing phone can get you strung up.

I have had a cell phone for about six years. I resisted until my lady said she would pay the bill if I carried the phone. == I only use it for talking. A few times I have taken a picture just fooling around. Pictures are the reason I bought a digital camera, why use a phone. As you might guess, I am on the downhill side of life.
