If I get eaten, it was nice knowing you guys..

In the morning I'm headed off for the trip of a lifetime. Instead of the annual Thanksgiving trip to Seattle to feast with the in-laws, this year we're headed to Bali. Don't get me wrong... I like them, but this is waaaaaaaay better.

Back to me getting eaten... Apparently there's a Tiger shark breeding ground in the Lombok strait, which makes sightings very common, especially in Nusa Dua, which is where we're staying, and the poppin surf spot this time of year.

I've been surfing Ocean Beach (San Francisco) most of my life, which is right smack dab in the middle of the red triangle. There's a seal breeding ground here which attracts plenty of Great Whites, but for some reason, they don't really scare me all that much... they should, I know, but I'm not all that bright, so I don't think about them. Tigers on the other hand... they scare the crap out of me. Unlike a Great White, they don't stop at just one bite.

Hearing about that one college kid just last month that had his whole leg bitten off by a Great White off Santa Barbara and died from it, I'll wish you luck in your ocean endeavors. Have fun - don't get eaten.

Dude, we have a resident Great White here in False Bay that measures 6,5 metres!!!

One bite is all he needs... already swallowed two people whole...

I hear they don't like spicy food. Smear some tabasco on yourself when you're applying sun block.

Good luck!

A lot of bandwidth eaten with little browsing
Hello everyone, From the past few weeks or so, I am on a limited data plan (10 GB per month). When I browse the internet for an hour or two (usually Facebook, Twitter, Blogs and some forums), my data exchange for that session goes to around 700-800 MB. I'm pretty sure something is wrong with...
