How do I mark my own thread as 'resolved'?

    How do I mark my own thread as 'resolved'?


    There's no option to do that under 'Thread Tools'?

    Pal I think you click on the little triangle in the corner and send a message "solved" and then a mod marks it "solved" with a green tick for you

    Ah alright, just did that to this thread.

    I'm wondering why we can't mark our own thread as resolved.

    Mods and admins of this site are all experienced geeks. A newbie could mark his own thread solved after reading first response that pleases him, although the issue would still be far from solved.

    Mods and admins can better judge if the issue really is solved.

    In fact, I am not at all sure if the reason I told has anything to do with this. I just thought it would be one of the logical reasons.
