    Greyhound

This is a really strange question but I was involved in a accident on a greyhound bus on the 30th of Nov and I was wondering if anyone here has ever had the misfortune I had and if so what the legal outcome was?

My wife and I were traveling from Orlando to New York via greyhound and the bus rear ended a logging truck. My wife sustained more serious injures then I but we keep hearing that greyhound is going to offer us money to not hire a lawyer and I was wondering if this was really true or not and its not like I can really just ask greyhound this outright without sounding like a money hungry accident victim.

Greyhound was very nice to us, they bought us dinner after the hospital, put us up in a hotel/motel that night, bought us a very expensive lunch the next day and even paid to have our bad delivered to our final destination. Now that we are safe and our stuff is with us they have cut off all contact and when we ask about the driver who is still fighting for his life.

We both pray that the driver will recover and live despite the fact that he lost his arm.

So if anyone has any experience with this company involving an accident and can help shed some light on what will happen I thank you in advance.

I am not a lawyer, but I would guess if you do nothing, they will do nothing. There is always the chance that no injuries would show up for several months or more and then the pain starts. Personal injury lawyers work on a percentage of the amount won. That might be your best bet.

already have a lawyer. Just wondering what other info I can find out about this as this is the first time I have been involved in a major accident of this type with any large companies like greyhound and what ever the logging company is.

I do have nightmares still 12 days later and was very sick and couldn't eat for a week (well at least couldn't keep anything down)

My wife had multiple issues and from all the reports I can find online none have gotten the facts about the accident right. I have read that 13 people were hurt when I know 18 went to the hospital I was at the bus driver lost his arm, a man had a heart attack and many broken noses and some old man had his cheek broken. After looking at some of the images from the accident I can't believe only 3 major injures and all the minor ones were all that happened.
