thong....3. A sandal held on the foot by a strip that fits between the first and second toes and is connected to a strap usually passing over the top or around the sides of the foot.
I guess you would know them by the name of "flip flop!"
Yes, that's always what I've heard them called, is flip flops. Never liked wearing them, found them uncomfortable....not to mention I have hideous-looking feet!

I don't wear thongs either, for obvious reasons. :) However, if that is your choice of nether-region concealment equipment, that's your perogative.

    p.s. I don't wear flip flops either.

I'm reminded of a story a friend who lived back east told me once. He lived in an apartment building with an open courtyard where his front door was. He said after a blowing snowstorm, he opened his front door (only door), to find nothing but snow.

He happened to look out his window to see a boy about 10 carrying a snow shovel. He yelled out he was stuck inside his apartment, and he'd give the boy $5 if he'd dig out his front door.

The kid yelled back "$10". So he agreed.

He said he put a $10 bill in a paper bag, with a piece of hard candy for weight, and tossed it down to the boy. Only to watch him walk down the street laughing.

He said, "Can you believe that stupid kid took my money?"

I said, "let's review. You told this kid you were stuck in your apartment. Then you tossed him the $10 before he got you out. Who is the stupid one?"

I got a good laugh out of that, but also thanked the stars that I don't live someplace where I can get stuck in my apartment. A Guy
