Well today found out the new cat that adopted us is female, she's been to the vets today for the follow on injections and we've had her microchipped and got cream for her eye, it is ulcerated.

We thought we had a castrated male but the vet wasn't so sure because of her colour so he checked and said it's definitely a female trouble now is had she been done before she arrived on our doorstep or what.

It cost just over £55 for todays trip so I'm hoping that she's already been neutered and saving us that expense.

Anyone who has ever experienced a big quake knows the unreal feeling of the whole earth shaking. 6.5 is a large earthquake, and what the ground is like, and how the buildings are built makes a big difference. I feel for anyone going through something like this. I hope the worst is over. A Guy
Thank you Bill for those words. It is sad to have 2 earthquakes (September 2010 & February 2011).

The NZ Prime Minister (John Key) had reported, the cost fee is expected to be $8-10 NZ billion dollars.

Apart from that, watching Real Madrid vs Lyon (UEFA CL) highlights.
    Quite disappointed with Real.

    Back to cats:
    My cat has:
The warmest part of the house when the weather is cold!
The driest part of the house when the weather is wet!
Four or five meals a day to order!
A choice of at least three main courses at each setting!
Attention and affection (lap sitting) on demand eighteen hours a day!
    Doorman available 24/7!

And this is a "Dumb animal"?

What's the quote about cats? Something along the lines of you don't own the cat, the cat owns you? Yet there's no other pet I'd rather have.
