Very sad news Mike , My condolences to you and Eileen It is always a sad time in a persons life with the passing of a loved one My prayers are with you tonight
Thank you all for your prayers, condolences and concerns.
Busy afternoon and just go in.
I'm okay. I'm always the "Rock" of both families when these events occur.
Prayers and well wishes appreciated by Eileen and myself.
It is hard on my wife and the others.
I've been reading your posts to her.
She isn't a computer "fan girl".
Eileen says thanks to one and all.
Thanks again.
Mike
interesting story, hopalong, and also please allow me to offer my condolences too.
my father (then living in england) had a similar story - one night he awoke to see his mother (then 'living' in italy) sitting on his bed. the next morning the phone rang announcing her passing during the night...
also while we are here, let's not forget the countless innocent vietnamese who were exposed to the truly awful agent orange. let's hope our armies aren't doing similar evil things right now.
Thanks Mickey and John.
Orange caused the original cancer. He had a growth come back in his lung. They found that out also over the weekend.
Of course he didn't make it for treatment a second time.
Pulmonary edema with Congestive Heart Failure then his kidneys shut down.
His body was just too worn out at 60 years of age.
He had been fighting the cancer for 7 years.
He fought a good fight. Twice.
For his country and against cancer.
Third time wasn't meant to be.
Mike
