    March is MS AWARENESS MONTH!

I want to thank "A Guy and LPt" for displaying their support for those who have MS.
My wife and millions of women and men are stricken with this disease.

At the moment there is NO Cure for MS but they do have various treatment that slow down the progression it.
Donna, my wife, is bedridden with Progressive MS and must receive 24/7 care. The cost of that kind of care is prohibitive so I retired early to take care of her. I haven't looked back since as she has been a true warrior in coping with MS
Thank God that she is of strong will and has the mind set of never giving up. Our motto is "Quitting is Not an Option!"

That is why I am thanking all of you for your support and good wishes for her daily battle with MS.

    The Howling Wolves
If you build me an MS-awareness sig I'd be happy to display it for the month.
    Me too please THW :)

    Thanks Dennis and Boo.

My wife woke up this morning about 7:30am and told me she had a dream during the night.

Her brother Rodney had came and held her hand.

    That was the entire dream.

9:30 am received a call from Rodney's daughter that he had passed during the night.

Make of it what you will.

Thank you all for your prayers, condolences and concerns.

Busy afternoon and just go in.
I'm okay. I'm always the "Rock" of both families when these events occur.

Prayers and well wishes appreciated by Eileen and myself.

It is hard on my wife and the others.
I've been reading your posts to her.
She isn't a computer "fan girl".

Eileen says thanks to one and all.

    Thanks again.

interesting story, hopalong, and also please allow me to offer my condolences too.

my father (then living in england) had a similar story - one night he awoke to see his mother (then 'living' in italy) sitting on his bed. the next morning the phone rang announcing her passing during the night...

also while we are here, let's not forget the countless innocent vietnamese who were exposed to the truly awful agent orange. let's hope our armies aren't doing similar evil things right now.

    Thanks Mickey and John.

Orange caused the original cancer. He had a growth come back in his lung. They found that out also over the weekend.
Of course he didn't make it for treatment a second time.

Pulmonary edema with Congestive Heart Failure then his kidneys shut down.
His body was just too worn out at 60 years of age.

He had been fighting the cancer for 7 years.

He fought a good fight. Twice.
For his country and against cancer.

Third time wasn't meant to be.
