From the Snip Kari posted we could send it to him but he still can't send it to Dinesh.
We can't send it to Dinesh either.
Makes no sense.

Western Union works one way: According to Western Union, India is a "receiving country", meaning it is OK to receive Western Union Money Transfer in India but it is not allowed to send Western Union Money transfer from India. India seems to have very strict money laundering policy. It must be done like this, that someone outside India takes care of collection.
I will clear this tomorrow, or rather today (it's past 4 AM already).

OK geeks, here's an update regarding Dinesh & Kavita's wedding present:
We faced two problems. First, PayPal is currently not accepting any payments for private persons in India, which is very strange but something we can do nothing for. More information here.
Secondly, gofundme.com service has had problems to accept donations in general, problem has something to do with the way the site handles PayPal payments. In their technical blog they say the problem was solved two days ago but this seems not to be true.
I've spent a few hours now trying to solve this, calling PayPal, Western Union and so on. Long story short, the donations for wedding present for Dinesh & Kavita are now accepted in this site: Wedding present for Dinesh & Kavita. You can donate in Euros or US Dollars. All donations are posted, so if you do not want to publish your name and / or the amount, please PM me here or use contact information found on the site before the donation, so I know not to publish the information you don't want to publish. I administrate the site, sending collected funds to Dinesh using Western Union Money Transfer, who has guaranteed that money transfers to India are 100% sure possible.

I know some may be tired of hearing about this.
Sharing with all of you has kept me going for all the rest of the family.
Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes.
Eileen and the rest of the family are doing well under the circumstances.
We had the "Irish" style wake at the American Legion Hall where Rodney was a member.
A celebration of his life.
We had 300+ come pay their respects.
All adults except the immediate family's children.
He was well known and liked in the area.
The population of Grafton, IL is only 672.
Considering family members that were in attendance one third of the town had to have shown up also.
Thanks everyone for the support.

Now for more cheerful news.
On with the Royal Wedding of our favorite son and daughter Dinesh and Kavita!
Shows Rodney was widely liked and is going to be deeply missed. Once more I wish you and your family strength to live on, Mike.

A short post script for the Veterans and others on the forum.
The American Legion is a veterans organization here in the USA.
They gave Rodney a 21 gun salute and played taps.
Also an active duty Naval enlisted man was sent to deliver an American flag to Rodney's wife.
I knew they would do that if the person was active duty.
I'm glad they also do it or it was arranged for Rodney.
Of course we fed the Navy man before we let him leave.
