| Windows 7: Have an incredible idea, where do I start? |

Have an incredible idea, where do I start? I have a very good idea that I believe could also potentially be very profitable. However I would love to apply this idea 99% for fun. I'm not really going to tell you what it is but it would be a generally sophisticated website. The reason I'm making this post is to basically ask...where do I start?
I'm currently a Junior in high school and am taking a college level Java programming course which I know probably won't help me much. but this website might also include webcam and other sorts of user input involving a mic and webcam, etc. What types of classes should I try to take? I want to be the designer of my own website. What types of programs should I learn? I'm guessing a bunch of adobe stuff like DreamWeaver.
I've had this idea for awhile now and I'd love to see it come to life, successful or not.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Being a bit of a cynic, I would advise you to keep your idea to yourself until you are pretty much able to implement it on your own. Unfortunately, many people (friends and family included) will steal it from you. Talk to your school vocational counseler and any other persons you know who are knowledable in this area -- to get more information about the type of classes and experience you need --- and if you do have to reveal some or all of your idea(s), be sure you can TRUST the person you tell! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavillion dv5t (generation 1) OS Vista 64 bit and 32 bit (SP2) CPU Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9400 (2.53 GHz Memory 4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm) Graphics Card 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT Monitor(s) Displays 15.4" diagonal WSXGA+ High-Definition HP BrightView Widescre Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Built-in HP Mouse Built in - Synaptics TouchPad V6.5 on PS/2 Port Hard Drives 320GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection Internet Speed Max Other Info ~ Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card w/Bluetooth ~ Blu-Ray ROM DVD+/-R/RW ~ Integ. Web design is the smallest part of creating a website, so yea you can go and learn Dreamweaver and all that stuff (personally I find web design easier in just a notepad++ or something and write the HTML/CSS myself). Learning a bunch of scripting languages like PHP or JSP can help a lot. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Professional x64 Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core i7 920 3.2GHz Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth x58 Memory 6GB XMS3 Corsair 1333MHz Graphics Card Zotac Nvidia Geforce GTX470 Sound Card ASUS Xonar DX/XD 7.1 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 24" S2409W + Dell 20" E207WFP Screen Resolution 1920x1080 + 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G11 Keyboard Mouse Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (2007 edition) PSU Corsair HX850 modular Case Coolermaster 690II Advanced Nvidia Edition Cooling Corsair H60 Hard Drives 1x 120GB OCZ Vertex 2E, 1x 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black, 1x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Green Internet Speed 16Mbps Other Info LG Blu-Ray player |

Thank you Imperfect1, and Everlong for legitimate input on this post. I know a little Dreamweaver, but I think I'm going to look into it more and start writing CSS. I found out there is a website creation and design class as an elective in my High School. I'll try to take it as a senior and hopefully start getting this thing going (:
I found this guy called 'thenewboston' on youtube and he does some detailed tutorials on such things. After taking a class and going through every single one of these tutorials I'm hoping that will be enough to get started.
The other thing I was thinking about is if this website had social interaction between people and I wanted it generally clean..wouldn't I need moderators? I figured I could get friends that I trusted, but do people do that sort of thing for free or would I have to pay them? Because I'm very serious about this idea, and I actually have savings started specifically for funding this project.
Also is creating a website typically a one man thing? Because I've heard of people hiring 'help' for creating websites but can someone really help you if you want things to specially look the way you want it, and do the things you want? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD FX 8150 Zambezi 3.6Ghz Motherboard MSI 990XA-GD55 AM3+ Memory G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1866 Graphics Card NVIDIA Gigabyte Geforce GTX 560 Fermi Monitor(s) Displays Samsung SyncMaster 2494HM Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Wireless Microsoft Keyboard Mouse Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse PSU 500W Cooler Master Case Sentey Extreme Division GS-6510 Burton Cooling Stock FX8150 cooler. :( 5+ LED fans on the case.
