Chocolates and a new hanger with fat blocks for my birds in the garden. :)

I have never heard of "fat blocks". It sounds like a diet aid, but I don't think that is what you are referring to. What is it?
They are square blocks made of suet with seeds or berry's for the wild birds, you can also get them in balls and pellets, I have those as well.

I mix the pellets with peanuts in a feeder and the balls have their own feeder, I also have wild bird seed feeders around and special niger seed feeders which attract the Goldfinches.;)

OH YEA -- I have seen those in stores. I just didn't know they were called that. :)

Ohh and before you ask, since my family is from Europe we celebrate on the 24th.
Sorry, I have to ask. What does Europe and the 24th have to do with it?
I live in California, but its not Christmas yet, but in Europe we celebrate on the 24th not the 25th

I'm in Europe, though I call it England, and we celebrate on the 25th. Who celebrates on the 24th and why? Just curious and thirsting for knowledge. Well thirsting for something this Christmas Day lunchtime (hic)
In Scandinavian countries, as well as here in Germany where I live now, the Santa Claus comes on 24th of December bringing gifts to kids. He comes late afternoon or early evening and meets the kids, not as in America where he don't want to show himself to anybody.

I think my family's Christmas tradiotions were / are quite normal Scandinavian ones. Christmas Eve, 24th, starts with bringing the Christmas tree in and decorating it. This part of Christmas traditions was in our family one never broken; no tree before 24th, and tree always stayed in until 6th of January, when it's taken out late in the evening. Sauna was always heated up very early, and around noon we went to Christmas sauna. We ate Christmas dinner quite early, around 3 or 4 PM. Around 6 PM arrived Santa Claus, kids sing a few carols to him, he gives a present or two to everybody and leaves, then parents take care of dealing the rest of the presents. Only day of the year when there's no bed time for kids and absolutely no television until 26th.

Christmas day 25th is then the holy day, opposite of that more material 24th. Everybody stays home, no visits to neighbors and so on. Only exception is the church; Christmas ceremony is very early, we normally went at 6 AM to church.

Food stays on the table from 24th to 26th: cold cuts, traditional Christmas ham and salads, bread and so on. Not counting the Christmas Eve's early dinner, everyone eats when he / she wants to. According to an old Finnish saying, "The best part of Christmas is that you can eat whenever you want to".

Boxing day 26th is then the first opportunity to go to show new presents to neighborhood kids. In the evening everybode gather around for a dinner together, which officially then ended the traditional Christmas.

:focus:

I got everything I had wished, and a bit more. Next few days are going to go very fast, installing this and that.

The most valuable gift was once again to realize how lucky I am to live this life of mine, to have an opportunity to love and live together with the most wonderful, beautiful and sexy woman of this universum, my dear Angelika (Angie for friends ;)). It never stops amazing me to realize she has chosen me; although I can never understand why, I'm happy she did so.

Angie was unhappy with her hair  so I'm not allowed to post a pic, but my dear mother-in-law gave permission to post this image titled "two three-time-stroke-survivors enjoying Christmas dinner":

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one who had not heard of the Christmas on the 24th. I just always assumed that the world observed December 25 as the day. I am in the USA and we opened presents on the 24th, but still the 25th is Christmas. Is this what everyone is referring to about the 24th?
Looking at the OP's name i think he might hail from Romania. That being the case perhaps they do celebrate on the 24th but I will look after the holidays to see if I can find out! Just curious.
Yes my family does originate from Romania, actually I am the first of my family to have been born outside of Romania( It was here in the US).
Other than that I also got a gift card at bestbuy, and a sum of $45, and some clothes.

In Scandinavian countries, as well as here in Germany where I live now, the Santa Claus comes on 24th of December bringing gifts to kids. He comes late afternoon or early evening and meets the kids, not as in America where he don't want to show himself to anybody.

Thanks for the info. That is quite interesting. I had never heard that before. Now that I think about it, it makes sense. He has to do one half of the world on one day and the other half on the next day. He's fast, but not fast enough to do the whole world in one day. == I think the reason that he doesn't show himself in America is because he is a bit exhausted from the 24th. He probably had to stop by some Pub's to "freshen up". By the time he gets to American he is no shape to be seen. -------- But I could be wrong....:D
