Neither love or hate it. Rather indifferent, although it is likable.

I just like the fact that MS got out of the damned box.
Ditto with some of the tripped out wall papers.
If they go back to a logo it will be decidedly retrograde.
Everyone KNOWS its microsoft - it doesn't need labelling.

The fish says "this is a nice place, I don't have to shove things at you, change me if you like - I'll just flow with it".

The logo says "Look at me, LOOK AT ME, Look at me"

I liked the fish and it suited the beta. But I agree now is the time for the final wallpaper and its ok (not fantastic).

With the release of RTM builds....it looks like the beta fish is going to be a dead fish :)
