Getting mkv media to cooperate with media center, the way I wanted - largely in thanks to the Shark codecs was very cool.
Sharring other knowledge with 7-users, even if it's just a part of the puzzle.

Coming back to the Forum just before Christmas, and seeing all the concern shown for me after going AWOL, I will never forget it, Thank you everyone.
Then there was Kari who went off and had more strokes than I care to remember, get well very soon Pardner.
The great news that John was ok after he got that scare, and is doing ok now, and then there was the Great news that touched everybody like I have never seen before, about the recovery of the Grimreaper. I don't think it gets any better than that.

I mentioned once before about not really laughing out loud. Well there have been some runs of dialogue in some threads (often the Today thread) that have made me really laugh out loud.
They're lost in memory now but probably wouldn't pay revisiting.
It's like, just for an instance, across cultures and time zones, peoples senses of humour are syncing. Awesome.

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot to mention the time that I walked into the room and caught Mickey and Cindy, going at it like I don't know what, It reminded me of the question I was asked when I was a child. The Question was, "How did they seperate the men from the boys, on those 17 century Sailing Ships."

The Answer was " With a Crowbar"

What makes this forum outstanding is that I always have the feeling to be amongst friends. And that is not the case on many other forums that I visit. The pleasure of being able to participate here is a year round enjoyment.

don't quite understand what you mean here, old chap.

my great-great-uncle roger served for a time as a cabin-boy, i suppose i could ask him if he knows anything about crowbars...
