play this mother LOUD, 'cos it's a glorious example of the amazing
atmosphere that the Tull generate when they pull out all the stops..

Mr Anderson is a genius with that flute, and what a great performer..!!

YouTube - Jethro Tull - Aqualung @ live 720p HD

Martin Barre giving the song some real edge with a stunning guitar break..
also some superbo work on the skins, such precision...

EXCELLENT! Love that flute solo, it should be longer. Saved to my fav's. The Aqualung Live is good too but I find that groups always change songs when doing them live and I prefer the video version.

    - here's one from way back - it's got some really beautiful photographs..

    they play spectacularly well live..
performances were like medieval pantomimes, excellent costumes..
lots of jigging and running around, but always keeping the music perfectly
poised and timed to perfection - a phatasmagorical experience - anybody
who's ever seen them play will tell ya'..

a fine band of strolling players..

    heh, heh..!!

Your right, there are some really fine pic's. Great music. I was never lucky enough to see them live. Back in their big days, group's like Tull, Supertramp, Floyd never came to Toronto because there was no forum big enough for them to play in. Let's not linger over how long ago this all was though
    Thanks BugM.
