    Making a torrent

I made a video last night of someone's appearance at a club and I want to sent it to my friend. It's quite big so I thought I would make a torrent.

I can't make it work at all though. I have tried using public trackers, I set up port forwarding on my router and used my own ip address and listening port and it still doesn't work. Just comes up with 0(1) seeds.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Does it still show 0(1) when your friend is downloading it? If nobody is downloading it then you have nobody to seed to.

Had not heard of it, till you mentioned it just now.
Perfect for my needs to share photos and small movie clips with family and friends.

I am glad you suggested it. Thank you JW.
Hope it helps the OP too.

I never though of drop box. I did try using a service for direct p2p through the browser but it said 9 hours. I could give dropbox a go actually.

My friend here actually managed to make it work using Vuze, I managed to send it to him but it's being flaky now. Even when it says the tracker is online it didn't work.
I decided to put on youtube too now

    Cheers guys
