    Bought a new monitor

I finally got my HP 2310e 23" WLED monitor.
I originally ordered it on the 26th of December since it was on sale for a total of $131 shipped.
It got canceled that evening due to stock shortage, so I called to complain and asked if I could get it for the sale price when it comes back in stock, they said yes and they would call me. They never called so I decided to check the HP Store on Friday and they were in stock and on sale for $259+tax.
I called and talked to a sales rep and told them the spiel about the order on the 26th and they were supposed to call, etc...

Well their system wouldn't allow them to mark the monitor down to the $131 level so they discounted it to $246 shipped and then credited me back $115, they call it a back end credit.

I got the monitor yesterday and the credit was applied back to my card today.
I am very pleased with the monitor, has DVI, HDMI, and Display Port.

Nice setup there. Judging by your sig, it looks like you use the 3 screens for video or music editing?

I don't do that much editing on this system nowadays, I just happen to be editing a commercial this evening, but I normally just use them for the added desktop space.
it's nice to have something open and just toss it on another screen so that you can reference it without minimizing/maximizing windows.
