Right now I figure getting older beats the other option.
wow, im surprised the "over 55" is the dominant age group on here.
Well, if you think about it, the proportion is not that off. the range >55 is pretty big. if you were just to say 55-75, then 20 years would be the same as 35-55 which adds up to 20.59% (at this point in the polling)
36 to 40.......... 3.74%
41 to 45.......... 4.28%
46 to 50.......... 5.35%
51 to 55.......... 7.22%
> 55.............. 20.45%
36 to 55.......... 20.59%
Take into account, as well, that the age group does not stop at 75 in the poll.
I think the biggest ratio is the 16-20 group at 18% for only one 5 year span.
Although these numbers show that range to be pretty normal (I would say) I think that the over 55 group has a rather large presence here in terms of posts and activity. I can say that there are quite a few regulars who are over 55 who post very helpful information on a daily basis due to the immense knowledge they have aquired over the years.
For me this makes sense on this forum since so many people have gotten into computer tech from the start and are still involved in the field or continue to support others who are up-and-coming in the field. Truly, there is so much knowledge here from our older members who have been in it from the get-go. It is really impressive.
