Forum Shortcuts: How to use them?

I've always wondered about it but was lazy to ask, but now, im gonna ask.

I see Alt+S appear when I hover my mouse over the 'Post Quick Reply' button, but pressing it opens the History menu in firefox. I've not tried in other browsers yet as Mozilla has remained my all time favourite.

So, how to make it work? Or simply they're disabled?

What are the other shortcuts, if any?

TBH I'd never noticed them, I've just tried and they seem to work in IE8.

Edit I've just found this on vbulletin.com but they dont seem to work.

The only one of those which seems to work is ALT-S for posting a quick reply. The others don't seem to work. However, these do (at east they do in IE):

ALT-X Switch to Advanced reply mode.
Ctrl-B Toggle Bold mode
Ctrl-I Toggle Italics
Ctrl-U Toggle Underline (the latter 3 only operate when the reply box is active)

Those Ctrl codes work in nearly any text editor. I've been using them since the very early versions of Word and AmiPro.

So my thinking was right. These shortcuts thingy doesn't work with FF.

What does TBH mean by the way? I am not good at these phony language.

Only the Ctrl options work, as they do with any other text field.
