Facebook Updates to Support Total Session HTTPS

After the release of Firesheep–a Wi-Fi sniffing Firefox extension that made waves last fall–major companies scrambled to beef up their security. Facebook joins the fray this week by adding in total session HTTPS; a simple toggle in your profile secures your entire browsing session.

So now you can stay secure putting your details in to facebook for them to then sell to the highest bidder

I call that sort of security 'feel good security', because it's nothing more than a placebo.

I don't put anything into facebook that's not silly or that I wouldn't want to be common knowledge.

And I'm still waiting for this. My facebook profile is only for fun. I don't have any details,just one picture and that's all. :)
