    A discovery...


    Hello all and today, I have made a new discovery for myself...

    Just an hour ago, I had 2 BSOD straight which falls with a message: SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION.

    So, I tried to start Windows normally, in safe mode, safe mode with command prompt and some of the rest of the settings. But, my Windows will never boot into my desktop screen. I have made the worst prepartion of formatting my computer because I have deleted my backup yesterday to store more songs and pictures with my friends.

    And, after all the Windows stucking and hanging. I decided to give up but I thought of something, it might be the hardware since it's a BSOD, right? So, I open up my case and ONLY remove the SATA cable and try to straighten it then plug it back. Start Windows again and everything was fine. No more BSOD, etc.

    Just a discovery for myself. Hope that it is helpful. =D

    This reminds me of a problem I had with Windows Vista x64 awhile back. All my hard disk worked fine, except one. Whenever the drive was used, I'd get a 0x00000124 BSOD. Eventually I tracked it down to the SATA controller in the BIOS - 32-bit disk access was turned off for that particular drive. When turned back on again, the problem went away.

    Sometimes the biggest problems have the smallest solutions...
