    You were right about the disc reading capability, but not Karaoke, think of another game playing device that begins with the letter A and you'll have the answer

    Correct :) It's one of NEC's CD-ROM devices (Super CD-ROM System), of which there were several versions. They interfaced with NEC's arcade/home systems. It played back NEC's arcade CD-ROM games.

    You can still open cans with it by using it to apply a sudden force on the can top.
    The long handle gives you ample room to stand back while the device is in use.
