Don't worry jacket57. It was but a joke, absolutely no need to apologize at all, I'm sure all our lovely ladies would endorse that. Just look at some of the banter in the Chillout Room and you will see what a brilliant, friendly Forum you have joined. It would be a much lesser place without the ladies.

Wowwwwwwwwwwwww you are the best freinds a person could have. Ladies, without them the world would be a boring place to live on.

History lesson #3.......After having crashed my 4 months dell computer........all xp modes fault. I was unable to replace my back up and image. Beacuse the dumb became dumber by formatting the drive and when was time to replace my image disc, it could not find any back up dates and therefore i aM LEFT with 7 disc with all files and documents as my new table top designs.

My desktop came with a compiled horizontal gadget with 5 icons together, and to this day i have not found how to find it or replace it on line. VMware has continued to be a great VMC product.Sorry Microsoft. I would like to find this Oem desktop gadget the computer came with.

Did you get a manual with your machine, that may have some information on what came with it when new. Have a look in the Installation and Setup sub forum, maybe someone there will be able to help.
Another suggestion, have you had a look at the Dell site, do they have a forum or help section that may help you find your gadget.

These were just thoughts on my part as I have no experience of Dell's, is it a laptop ? if so I know nothing about them either.

Oh and welcome to the forum Jacket
