    When replying to a post and one has to insert a link for help, how do you rename that link, so that it's not 100 characters long?

    In exactly the same way as you would an ordinary URL link.

    Where Here is the name that you want to give to that link.

    select any old text, then click the 'globe and chain' icon to make it a link.

So basically (I'll try to be descriptive), I have an Excel file (extension xlsm) on my USB and I right click it, send to --> desktop (create shortcut). I see the shortcut.
