    Nowt as funny as folk.

I have noticed on a number of occasions that a Member has posted a question which generated several replies of advice only to see the thread slip further and further back because the Member posing the question has not bothered to look or acknowledge the help offered. Why post the question in the first place???
I'll not quote the latest incident; but 4 days ago a query was posted which received 2 suitable answers within a couple of hours but, to-date there is no sign of acknowledgement. Poor show on behalf of some members I believe.

It happens sometimes. It's not worth getting worked up about. Hopefully the replies they got helped them, which is the main point.

    Very true.

Hi kado897, That's true and goes to show just what a useful Forum this is; I know I've received help a few times.

Its the best one I've come across, which is why I will stick with it and help out when I can.

But it is frustrating when the OP doesn't come back to his/her thread to acknowledge the answers and let us know the results -- especially when we would all benefit from knowing which of the suggestions (if any) helped or solved the problem.

I am really glad to see a totally different member post that the thread helped them

That way we know somebody has been helped, even if the thread starter doesn't come back.

Nice to see the responses from you all and yes it would help greatly to see which suggestion had solved the problem. Not to mention it also being good manners.
    Regards to all above.
